Shavonna Q. Hinton

Shavonna is a student in the Education Policy program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She specializes in people, policy, and higher education opportunity and focuses on how organizational policies and community based initiatives are designed to support the higher education pursuits of students they serve. On the team, Shavonna supported the digitization and indexing of books. A lifelong bookworm, Shavonna has always had a passion for getting lost in a great story. As a child, A Series of Unfortunate Events, kept her hooked from the first sentence. The unique writing style, verbose vocabulary and ostentatious use of alliteration gave her aspirations of becoming a published author one day (a pursuit she is still working on).
