Natural Language Processing Research Data Scientist
Callista is a Research Data Scientist at the University of Chicago's Research Computing Center. She received two Bachelor degrees in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Chicago in 2020. Throughout her education, she found that she was more interested in the power of data and programming than the actual physics behind her work. She is extremely thankful for her experience in the MiiE group as it has allowed her to combine her passion of programming with her love for helping and mentoring others.
One of her favorite childhood movies is the Disney movie Mulan. Mulan's bravery and devotion to her family throughout the film has continued to inspire her to be brave and persistent in difficult situations and kind hearted to the others.
